I am an eternal student! I will never stop learning, growing, questioning and pushing. I want to understand how everything works and how it all fits together. Life is better when approached with a curious mind and a hunger for knowledge. Subjects that interest me can vary greatly and often, one subject will lead me to three more on my quest for understanding.

Science was one of my first big interests. From an early age, my father would take me outside and teach me the constellations at night. I got my first telescope when I was 10. I got a chemistry set around the same time and got my first microscope one year later. He encouraged my questioning mind.

Psychology also became a major interest, starting in my adolescent years. I struggled with myself and I wanted answers. Through my studies of Psychology, I have learned to understand myself, and others, so much better. Of all the subjects I've studied throughout my life, I consider Psychology to be among the most helpful in my day-to-day life.

Mathematics is the most recent subject I have pursued beyond just surface learning. It's not always easy! I am not a natural mathematician, and I really have to work at it. Every career I've wanted to pursue has required math as a foundation, so I'm finally taking the plunge. I'm at Calculus I right now, but will continue learning well beyond this point.
